In emergency situations or when directed by health authorities, we recommend taking 130 mg (2 tablets) per day for individuals who are 18 years and older or weigh more than 150 lbs. Individuals who are younger than 18 years and weight less than 150 lbs should take 65 mg (1 tablet) per day. Potassium Iodide is intended for short-term use only and daily use is not recommended for longer than 2 weeks.
